What are the latest advances you have made to support innovation in the category of proteins?

BaltMilk is a cutting-edge manufacturer of milk proteins, applying the latest technology and innovations to provide the world with high-quality and value-added milk ingredients.

Our latest ingredient we plan to introduce is native whey protein isolate powder NWPI90.

This is produced from one ingredient, skimmed milk, through membrane-filtration and gentle spray-drying processes.

The milk for production of this product is of Lithuanian origin and collected from our cooperative members’ farms. With strict quality control at every stage, from milk collection to final product, we ensure the highest-quality food safety standards – (FSSC) 22000.

All our milk is hormone-free, GMO-free and antibiotic-free.

Our products are delivered worldwide under the LACTOPRIMA PRO and LACTOPRIMA LAC brands.

What types of delivery systems and applications are best suited to your ingredients? 

We focus on a B2B delivery system for customers under which trust, quality, flexibility and delivery on time are paramount.

Our ingredients are mainly used in protein beverages, ready-to-drink shakes, protein bars, snacks, dietary supplements, high-protein ice cream and functional blends, as well in bakery and confectionery, and dairy applications for which a pure source of proteins is needed.

Our R&D team is able to help us adapt to the needs of the most demanding customer.

What specific ingredients or specialized strategies do you offer for products to support protein needs?

We understand that each customer has their own specific requirements and is looking for particular functions from each ingredient.

Therefore, we are ready to offer other milk protein products including micellar casein MicCC85, milk protein concentrate MPC85, native whey protein concentrate NWPC80 and native whey protein isolate powder NWPI90.

We also offer organic and lactose-free products, which are important for the modern consumer.
